PJ Cannon Jr. is an experienced Digital Marketing strategist who studied Radio and TV Broadcasting in 2006 at the Illinois Media School. His passion for Audio and Video production earned him an internship with Clear Channel Radio Chicago (now iHeart Media), which lead to him working 3+ years as a Marketing & Promotions Assistant for all 7 Clear Channel Chicago radio stations. PJ currently uses his 14 years of marketing knowledge and experience to leverage social media promotion to increase brand awareness, fan engagement and ultimately annual revenue for a variety of clients.
In addition to being a co-founder and the current CEO of Integrity Talent Management Group (ITMG) a talent management and digital branding company, PJ is also the founder and CEO of Rastafari JAMS, a Reggae radio station and Rastafari broadcast network that streams 24/7 - 365
He has been able to use his knowledge and experience with digital marketing to assist ITMG clients to accumulate over 130 Million views on YouTube, hundreds of thousands of YouTube subscribers, hundreds of thousands of Instagram , Facebook and Twitter in addition to earning recording contracts with major labels such as Capitol and Atlantic, Netflix movie appearances, over 100 paid performance opportunities and over $1 Million in revenue.
PJ is a great fit for his position because unknowingly, his whole life has prepared him for it! His humble beginnings, his LOVE for music and entertainment that has existed since he can remember. His 18 year journey as a songwriter and recording artist, his 25 years working in different barbershops gaining a variety of information, his 3yrs at Clear Channel Radio Chicago (now iHeart Media) as a Promotions and Marketing assist, the 2009 lay off from Clear Channel which kicked started his entrepreneurial journey as a digital marketer, to Chicago recording artist DLOW approaching him in September 2014 to manage him when "artist management" was something he had no clue of, to success executing the very 1st Musical dance challenge the #DoItLikeMeChallenge which got 13 straight weeks on the Billboard charts (never again after signing with Atlantic Records) and negotiating a 15 city Live Nation tour from $45k to $60K.
That abundance of knowledge and experience has prepared PJ to become a successful Digital Marketing Strategist, and now to be considered 1 of the top digital music marketing minds in the industry!
Additionally, PJ runs his own Reggae Music & Edutainment radio broadcast network called @RastafariJAMS which launched April 4th 2014 and now has listeners from across the globe, from 77 countries and 260 cities.
